First Mother's Day
This is what I found in the nursery that morning. Olivia has a very sweet daddy that helped her out a bit this year.
I cannot describe what a blessing it is to be a mother. No one can ever prepare you for the adventure of being a parent and I truly never thought I could love someone so much. I will agree with those that say that it is the hardest, most rewarding job on this earth. I look forward not only to the many more Mother's Days but the "everyday" life and what we will endure and enjoy.
Pre-Mother's Day In Memphis
Olivia and I went to Memphis on Wednesday so we could spend time with my mom (Nano) for Mother's Day. We came back on Saturday after meeting Hays in Batesville to visit my mom's mom (Memaw). We had a great time visiting and it always seems like it's never quite long enough.

Kai, Olivia, Kayla, Joshua and Eli (missing Jon David)
Lots of kiddos to look after
Olivia and Nano
(she IS the best....don't even think about arguing with me on this subject!)
A Good Girl In Church
Many of you might remember a post I did last Sunday about Olivia and her behavior in church. She was not a very good girl while we were in service and the nursery workers had to page me to come get her. Not a good feeling for this new mommy. I knew that I was still going to continue to take her to the nursery and she would just have to get used to it. This Sunday I was a tad nervous throughout the service thinking my pager would go off any minute. Well, when we walked into the nursery this is what we found. All 3 babies getting lots of loving and having fun. We thought this was the cutest thing, all 3 of them in a circle. The nursery worker was doing such a great job I asked her if I could take her home with me (haha j/k....sorta)!

One Of My Favirotes
In Christ alone my hope is found.
He is my light, my strength, my song.
This Cornerstone, this Solid Ground,
firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
When heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My Comforter, my All in All,
here in the love of Christ I stand.
No guilt in life, no fear in depth;
this is the power of Christ in me.
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man
can ever pluck me from His hand;
Til He returns or calls me home,
here in the power of Christ I stand.
He is my light, my strength, my song.
This Cornerstone, this Solid Ground,
firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
When heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My Comforter, my All in All,
here in the love of Christ I stand.
No guilt in life, no fear in depth;
this is the power of Christ in me.
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man
can ever pluck me from His hand;
Til He returns or calls me home,
here in the power of Christ I stand.
