Just Some of Olivia...

Who doesn't like to eat their supper outside??

"Someone needs to tell my mommy that you don't take your baby running when the bottom is about to fall out!!"
I guess that I get the bad mommy award of the day...oops.

Just chillin with Sesame Street and my baby doll. What a life!

Beach Trip: Numero Uno

Last weekend we actually were able to take a little trip down to the beach for some r&r. Well.... now we know there is no such thing as r&r, the beach and a one year old! We have learned our lesson. We should have know the trip wasn't going to be very peaceful when it took us 8 hours to get down there when it should have taken us 4. I think we spent a total of one hour at the pool (thank goodness it was heated!) the whole weekend. We also spent practically one whole night up with a screaming baby. Now we know to always take a babysitter with us! All in all it was a fun trip and I'm so glad that we went and made memories together (even if they weren't all happy).
Such a cute little beach baby.

After Olivia realized sand doesn't taste very good.

Enjoying the pool with Daddy.

Who doesn't like a naked baby's booty??? So.darn.cute.
Doesn't every baby need a little nakey nakey time while at the beach??
(Hope she doesn't kill me in about 10 years for posting this cuteness!)

Picnic, Anyone??

We decided to go on a quick picnic Friday afternoon. I think Olivia had a great time at her first picnic. She is definitely a baby that LOVES the outdoors.

Our picnic company was trying to escape. Don't worry, we didn't let her get away!

In.To.Everything.

Have I said that Olivia is into everything?? Well....she is into EVERYthing!!!

Happy Birthday to the Best Nano Ever (a little late)

Happy Birthday to Nano/Mom!!!

We traveled to Memphis a few weekends ago to help Nano celebrate her birthday. We had a fun weekend surrounded by each other and all the kiddos. We couldn't ask for a better Nano and are so blessed to have her as ours. We love you Nano and are so thankful for you!!!

Prayers and Pictures

Last week our family went through a rough time with the death of a very dear family member. It's hard to remember in times like these that God has a plan and it is so perfect for each of us. In the same thought it is so comforting to know that we have a Father that we can lean on and cry out to and He hears our cries and know our needs even before we do. We are so selfish to want her here with us but we also know she is walking the streets of gold right now, doesn't feel or know pain and is sitting at the feet of the Almighty. These next few days, weeks and months will be tough but also comforting to know that we will see her again and one day, spend eternity with her. Hays and his family covet your thoughts and prayers.

On a much lighter note, Olivia's one year pictures are available to view. They are so precious. Just go to www.allimphoto.com, order online, click on Olivia's name and the password is Brooke. Enjoy!

Enjoying the Beautiful Weather and So Much More

With the weather being so unbelievably beautiful right now we had to get out and enjoy it. So we decided to take a trip to the zoo last Sunday afternoon. I think Olivia really enjoyed her trip. The giraffes seemed to be her favorite.

We have also been enjoying the jogging stroller. Well...Olivia has been enoying the ride and scenery, mommy cannot say the same. She didn't quite look like this (all smiles) when it was all over and done with.

All pooped out. We go to a Bible study on Wednesday mornings. All of the playing must poop Olivia out. This is what the ride home usually consists of. So sweet.

Have I mentioned that Olivia is into EVERYthing??? I turn my head for one moment...one little moment.

All smiles after a good afternoon nap. :)))

We have once again been a tad under the weather lately. The stomach bug of 2011 hit our house and took us down one at a time starting with Olivia. This is the first thing we had to do one morning. Never a good thing when you have to start the day off giving the baby a bath.

Snuggeling with daddy on a sick day. Two little peas in a pod...love them.
