Beautiful In Blue

I know that most of you probably didn't know but Olivia does own some dresses/outfits that are not pink or purple. Not many, but does have a few other colors. Today for church we decided on a blue dress (one of two, that is). She, of course, looked just darling in it but did not act just darling in church. The nursery workers ended up having to page me in the middle of the service because she was crying so much. Maybe she's not a fan of wearing the color blue???

3 Months

If someone talks to time could you please ask it to SLOW DOWN for me??? I mean really, Olivia is 3 months old already? Time really does fly by. Days quickly turn into weeks, weeks into months and before we know it we'll be planning a 1 year birthday party.

Olivia has grown a ton. I mean just look at those chunky thighs! She is so stinking cute I can barely handle it (people...I am her mother!). We went to the doctor the other day and she now weighs 11 pounds and 11 ounces. She has changed so much in the past month. She is now cooing ALL the time, smiling at us (which melts my heart) and noticing all of her toys AND Lilly (our dog). Also, last night she slept for a full 8 hours straight. I woke up around 6 and turned to Hays to ask him if we had gotten up and I just didn't remember it. We have our fingers crossed that tonight will be much of the same. :)

If you haven't noticed, Olivia is beginning to look just like her daddy. Good thing her daddy is pretty darn good looking. She has his eyes, hair, ears, lips, and feet (poor thing). I am still claiming her nose to look like mine. I mean I gave birth to the child, shouldn't she inherit something from me??

Happy 3 month birthday little Olivia (A.K.A. punkin and tator). Hopefully, this next month will just drag by. :)

Our Little Bathing Beauty

Is it summer time already?? Since pool time is right around the corner I decided to try all 6!! of Olivia's bathing suits on her to make sure they fit or will in the near future. I'm not sure how we will decide which one to wear because they are all so stinking cute. I guess we will just have to go to the pool A LOT so she can wear them all. She is one lucky girl with a very LARGE wardrobe. She behaved while we were trying them all on until the last one. She was getting pretty tired of being changed a million times. She will, for sure, be the cutest little girl at the pool this summer.

This 2 piece might be showing a little too much skin for mommy and daddy to handle.

Sorry little girl, the 2 pieces will have to wait.

What A Good Daddy!!

Just wanted to give appropriate appreciation to the MAN of the house. Hays is such a great daddy to Olivia and husband to me. I am not sure what I would have done without him the first few weeks of new motherhood. He truly is everything he stands for and you can't ask for anything better than that. God knew what he was doing when He had us meet as freshman at Delta State and for that I am so thankful. What a great daddy and husband Hays is and what a blessing he is to me and Olivia.

Can we say green thumb??.....Maybe.

Hays and I have worked really hard since we moved into our house to make our front and back yards pretty. We LOVE spending time outdoors and wanted to have a nice yard to look at and enjoy. I guess I have taken gardening up as a hobby for 1.enjoyment 2.so our yard would look decent. After working really hard for over five years we can finally say that it's getting there. Now that I have other things taking up a majority of my time I hope that I am able to keep this up and still enjoy a few hobbies that I had prebaby. :)

It's amazing how much she has grown and developed in just a few weeks. Why didn't someone tell us how great it is to be parents?? Maybe we wouldn't have waited so long.....
