The weekend before Easter Hays and I decided, on the spur o the moment, to take a little trip to the beach. It was a nice, relaxing time to get away since we have been cooped up in the house for so long. We did learn a few lessons on the way though. 1.No more spur of the moment trips, it ends up being not so spur of the moment 2.Car rides that used to take 4 hours now take any where from 6-8 hours 3.How to feed and change a baby in the back seat of a car 4.How blessed we are to have such a good baby that did awesome the entire trip and will allow her parents to pretend like they can live the way they did before a baby.
It was too cold and windy, contrary to what Hays thought, to take Olivia out on the beach so we captured the memory of the first beach trip from the balcony. We did lots of hanging out in the condo and shopping at the outlet mall. Many more trips to come for the little beach babe. Koodos to Hays' parents for allowing us to use the condo.
