Yes, you did read the title correctly. Olivia is 7 months old today. I have said that over and over to myself all day and still cannot believe that our baby is 7 months old! It seems like the last month she has grown up so much. She is no longer the infant that just lays or her back on a blanket just looking around. She is sitting up now and is into EVERYthing. It's a struggle just to get this child's diaper changed. She is a very curious baby and has to know what is going on at all times.She is continuing to eat 3 meals a day (she has tried 4 fruits and 2 vegetables) and is nursing 5 times a day. The solid food is also helping her sleep much better at night and take longer naps during the day. Some things she loves MOST: her activity gym, when her daddy comes home from work, the fish tank, Lilly, strolls around the neighborhood, her bell toy, her lovies and ninny and to be rocked to sleep at night. Olivia is such a blessing and not one night has gone by the last 7 months that we haven't thanked God for her.
This is how Olivia ends everyday. I know all the books say don't rock babies to sleep. I would not take back one second that I have rocked her. I cherish this time every night and will hate when the day comes that I cannot do so.
On a side note: Hays and I spent most of today making baby food. I know we are doing what is best for Olivia but oh, how I despise the process!
