The Desert

Hays and I had our first real getaway post baby last week. We were invited to a close friend's wedding in Tuscon, Arizona and then spent several days vacationing around the desert. Our college friend, Mark, moved out to Arizona after receiving a transfer with his job. He met a great girl out there and the rest is history. A true love story. The wedding was one of the nicest and most fun weddings we have ever been to. Congrats to Mark and Taylor, we are so happy for "you guys" (as they say out west).

We then traveled to Sedona, Arizona and spent a few days enjoying ourselves and not chasing a baby, changing diapers, feeding a baby and following a schedule. It was pure bliss....we could only handle a few days though. :) We slept in, went hiking, had creek side massages and took a jeep tour. It was such a nice break from real life but boy, did we miss our little girl.

Thanks to Gigi and Papa for taking good care of our girl while we were away!!!

She's not walking....but she's getting close!!!

Spring Time=Baseball Time

Last weekend we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and attend some baseball games. We stayed with our great friends "Uncle" Jay and "Aunt" Rebecca and went to a Delta Sate baseball game on Saturday and an Ole Miss baseball game on Sunday. It was a great weekend and lots of fun. Although, I can't say that I saw a single play at the Delta State game. Let's just say it was a different kind of experience with a little one along for the ride. Although, she makes the cutest Fighting Okra I have ever seen!

Might I remind you that Jay and Rebecca have no children at this point and after our little family bombarding their peaceful homestead I'm not sure they ever will!! Ha!! Thanks for letting us (and the dog!) come stay and turn your world upside down for a few days. Even thought it was crazy at times, we had the best time!
