Easter is such an awesome celebration. We often get caught up in the Easter egg hunts, bunnies and big dinners that we forget what we are truly celebrating. What a great God that we have to let His only Son die on the cross for us (the undeserving) so we could have eternal life with Him. And what an awesome day it must have been when they found the tomb empty and knowing that Jesus had arisen and was alive! Now that I have a child I better understand what a sacrifice God made for me and how much He must love me. Easter is my anniversary of becoming a believer and follower of Christ. I know how much I love Olivia (and it is a WHOLE LOT) but I also know that God loves me even more than that! Amazing.
