Easter: Part Two

Seeing what she got from the bunny. Yes, the bunny traveled to Nano's house.

The whole fam minus a couple of people.

Our little fam.

Amie with her two cuties.

Nano and Pops with their grands.

I think Olivia might be having too much fun. Is that possible???

They're all saying "could we please get out of this hard chair, we're squished."

We ended our fun filled day by eating a crayon. Who took their eyes off the baby???
Lovely.

Easter: Part One

Easter. How awesome is it that a man named Jesus died on a cross over 2000 years ago for an undeserving sinner like me??!! And you!! I mean...I can't even fathom that kind of love. Awesome.Indescribable.Too much to wrap my little brain all around.

Our family celebrated the day before with an Easter egg dying party, a hunt and then a big, yummy dinner. Does any of this have anything to do with the Resurrection. Well, no. But it's still fun, especially for little kids.

All of the cousins. Well, mostly second cousins but who's counting??
This is the best picture we got. I mean 7 kids under the age of 5 is not easy to photograph. Let's just say it was CCCRRRAAAZZZZYYYYYYY!

Easter egg dying. Instead of pretty colors like green, blue and pink we had camoflauge and poop yellow. Maybe next year they'll get the hang of it.

And then Jon David tried to eat the freshly dyed egg. Who doesn't like vinegar tasting eggs that turn your teeth green??

And then there was the hunt...

Some would rather chew on the eggs than hunt them. That's okay baby girl, maybe next year.

We found out somebody likes lolly pops. Anything that consists of sugar really.

The two newest members at the Easter dinner. What cutie pies.

Just Pics of Some Cuteness

Can we just say that someone must have gotten a really good nap???

She's going to be very studious. Can't you tell?

Chocolate chip cookie anyone??

Either the grocery store just bores her to sleep or she was just plain pooped out...

My little helper...

What do you do during tornados???

Us??? We play with toilet paper.

My heart goes out to all the people in the Southern states that have been affected by the horrendous tornadoes that wiped through yesterday.

Me, Olivia and our rather large dog had to fit in a tiny half bathroom. Thankfully, we didn't have to stay in there too long. In order for all of us to remain sane I allowed the girl to play with the toilet paper. It would be safe to say that the toilet paper was not salvageable.

Little Miss Jabberbox

Easter update coming soon.

Race for the Cure: A 5k for a Good Cause with Good Friends

Kari and I loaded up the kids last Saturday morning and headed downtown for the Race for the Cure. By no means did either of us do any kind of racing but it was still fun to get out bright and early with the kids and do some jogging. I mean look at those two cuties in those strollers. Their first of many 5k's together!

The Desert

Hays and I had our first real getaway post baby last week. We were invited to a close friend's wedding in Tuscon, Arizona and then spent several days vacationing around the desert. Our college friend, Mark, moved out to Arizona after receiving a transfer with his job. He met a great girl out there and the rest is history. A true love story. The wedding was one of the nicest and most fun weddings we have ever been to. Congrats to Mark and Taylor, we are so happy for "you guys" (as they say out west).

We then traveled to Sedona, Arizona and spent a few days enjoying ourselves and not chasing a baby, changing diapers, feeding a baby and following a schedule. It was pure bliss....we could only handle a few days though. :) We slept in, went hiking, had creek side massages and took a jeep tour. It was such a nice break from real life but boy, did we miss our little girl.

Thanks to Gigi and Papa for taking good care of our girl while we were away!!!

She's not walking....but she's getting close!!!

Spring Time=Baseball Time

Last weekend we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and attend some baseball games. We stayed with our great friends "Uncle" Jay and "Aunt" Rebecca and went to a Delta Sate baseball game on Saturday and an Ole Miss baseball game on Sunday. It was a great weekend and lots of fun. Although, I can't say that I saw a single play at the Delta State game. Let's just say it was a different kind of experience with a little one along for the ride. Although, she makes the cutest Fighting Okra I have ever seen!

Might I remind you that Jay and Rebecca have no children at this point and after our little family bombarding their peaceful homestead I'm not sure they ever will!! Ha!! Thanks for letting us (and the dog!) come stay and turn your world upside down for a few days. Even thought it was crazy at times, we had the best time!

The Little Fighting Okra.

Tuckered out after a day of fun.
