Ford is a half year old! I just cannot believe it. Before I know it we will be planning his first birthday party. This little boy has grown by leaps and bounds. We went to the doctor this morning (he STILL has an ear infection) and he weighs 17 lbs 9oz (50%) and 27 5/8" long (80%). Besides being sick for the last month he has changed a good bit. He has gotten 3! teeth and eats baby food once a day. His favorite seems to be oatmeal and either apples or pears. He nurses every 3 hours during the day and will wake up once at night to nurse then go back to bed. He goes to bed around 7ish every night and usually wakes up around 7ish the next morning (just a cooing). He has found his feet and seem to be very amused by them. His feet are by far his favorite toy but he does love his rattle, teething rings, Sophie, the giraffe and Olivia's hair.:) He also LOVES bath time, to be outside, the fish tank, the swing, activity gym, his ninny and lovies, and the be rocked before bed time. He also adores his sissy and will follow every move she makes. He is such a delight and we look forward to the next 6 months, just not so quickly!

Visit with Gran
Gran and Ford
Ford is named after Gran's late husband, Bedford who went by Bet. I know Gran feels honored to have a youngster named after the one person she loved most. This picture will always be so special.
Ford the Last Month
I am sure I have said this before but I not only keep this blog up for my friends and family to keep up with our boring lives but also for myself. I want to be able to look back and remember as much as possible about raising these two that have been gifted to me and so they can look back on memories from their childhood. So sometimes the posts are pretty boring like this one but I want to include it for Ford one day is his blog book that I make once a year. So pardon all the cuteness in these pictures.:)
Someone has found a new "toy". Sometimes if he's cranky I just lay him on his back and make sure he has a foot to gnaw on and he's all better.:)
Not so sure about the whole glow worm thing...
This is my view most afternoons after nap time. Love those chunky thighs.
Can you ever get enough of a grinning baby with no teeth?
This is one happy boy.
Poopy in the Potty
I'm not sure if this is a common thing among children but we have really had some hurdles to jump to get Olivia to go #2 in the potty. We had been promising her for quite some time that if she was successful then we would get her a Winnie the Pooh (she is in LOVE with him right now). Well, we are not 100% there yet but she did go and we did have to oblige. So, this is Pooh Bear having supper with us one night. He was a pretty good guest.:)
Weight Comparison
Oh my...there is such a difference in the size of my children. The first picture is Olivia at about 3 months old and the second picture is Ford at about 4 months old. I know Ford is about a month older than Olivia in these pictures but he looks like he could eat her for lunch. It's so funny to me how different they are in some ways but just alike in others. They are both uniquely and wonderfully made and I love them with all my heart.
(please disregard how awful the swing looks, we've gotten our money out of it)

Blogging Drought
Whew!!! It has been a while since I had a chance to update this little blog. The last month of summer has been very busy for us. Hopefully, I will be able to update on what we have been doing very soon. Anywho, our summer has officially come to an end. I hate to see the careless summer days come to an end but my favorite season of the year is fall so I am welcoming it with open arms (and its cooler weather). For now I will leave you with some pretty cute pictures of some pretty cute kids.
Can you tell this little one has been sick? Poor baby is fighting an ear infection with antibiotics (when he will take them) and breathing treatments.
A very sick baby=a very tired household
I will also leave you with what the kiddos have been up to the last day.
While I was taking care of Ford, Olivia decided to get into the finger paint, try to eat it and proceed to run around the entire house. I'm inthe process of trying to get it out of Ford's curtains. Fun times.
#notenougheyestogoaround
On this occasion Hays was watching the kiddos while I ran to the doctor. He text and said Ford was really cranky which I replied with "he likes to watch the fish". This is what I got a picture of 2 minutes later. #dadsarethebestiguess
