Play Date with the BFF

Olivia has been begging for Wil to come over and play so we had a little play date last Friday. They had the BEST time.

I'm not sure how Ford sweet talked Wil into pushing him in big circles in this wagon but he did. Wil didn't seem to mind it too much.

I put Ford down for a nap and let Olivia and Wil play in her bedroom with the door cracked. I peeked in on them and this is what I found. I didn't capture a picture of the exchange of rings at the wedding ceremony. :)

This is their first dance. 

May they always be so innocent.

Camping with the Besties

We ventured out for a weekend of fun with Aunt Rebecca, Uncle Jay and the ol' camper. 

We had perfect weather, perfect company, a perfect view and of course, some perfect s'mores.

I only took 3 pictures but I think they pretty much sum up the kind of time we had, perfect.

Zoo Day

Both kids LOVE the zoo and I just can't deny them their desire to go. We decided to load and head to the zoo one last time before it got hot and steamy and was over crowded with all the older school kids. 

It was a perfect day.

Baby had to tag along on this trip (surprise, surprise).

These Two...

We have been pretty bust lately with school, therapy and other things and haven't been able to have a jammie day in a long while. Ford wasn't feeling well and there's bad weather coming in so we declared this Monday morning a much needed jammie day! We were out in the front yard at 8:30...in our jammies...riding in the cozy coupes. 

Soaking up these precious moments with these two for I know they are numbered.

Country Music Half

Several months ago I persuaded my good friend, Amanda into training and running the country music half marathon together. We had the BEST time...I think I've got the running fever back. I ran it in 1:49 which was 8:15 pace. Not too bad for a momma of two. Can't wait until the next race!

Impromptu Photo Op

For some reason Olivia wanted to have a little impromptu photo op where she was in charge of the camera. So...we took some pictures...you can see who was in charge of what pictures.

Easter 2014

We had such an awesome Easter. It's hard to have a crummy time when you are celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus, the One that came to save us from our very own sins.

The kids and I left on Wednesday for Memphis, Hays came on Friday and we stayed until Saturday. We got home just in time to get a good nights rest before celebrating at our church and with Hays' family. 

Olivia was a tad excited to go see her Nano. So much that the night before we left she colored Nano this beautiful picture. She just gets a little excited when we go to Memphis.

We had fun hanging out at the park with the cousins after getting kicked out of story time at the library for being too loud. When you have these four together there's no being quiet but the librarian just didn't understand that.

We ventured to Nano and Pop's church for round one of Easter egg hunting.

By the look of that basket, it's safe to say it was a successful hunt for the girl.

And brother bear found his fair share too.

Then it was on to round two with the family. 

He's a little perturbed about his empty basket...

The whole crew. Yes, folks that's eight kids under the age of 9. It gets crazy and LOUD.

We gathered up and traveled home late that night just in time for the Easter bunny to come visit.

Then it was round 3 with the Collins clan.
