Things That Make Me Happy

 Taking this sweet girl to the park and seeing this smile. I think she would go to the park everyday all day and be in her happy place which makes this momma in her happy place.

Staying at home and taking care of these sweet chickadees makes me a happy momma. I wouldn't have it any other way. Never. Ever.

 

Painting these little tootsies and hearing this girl say "ooooo sooo pretttyyy, thank you momma!"

Makes my heart smile.

Cuddling with this sweet little blessing every afternoon while his big sister sleeps. That is for sure a happy place (and peaceful).

Seeing these two do what daddy's and baby girls do together. Love it. Happy.

Can we be any more blessed??? Thank you, Lord for letting your Son die and rise again for me and my sweet little family. This is a millimeter of the happiness that we will feel in heaven, spending eternity with Him.

Full Nights Rest

I am proud to announce that at 5 weeks and 2 days old Ford slept through the night!! He slept from 11pm to 5am which felt like a dream to me. I looked at the time when he woke up to nurse and had to double check to make sure I was seeing the correct time. When we got up for good this morning I heard angels singing hallelujah! It was fabulous!

We don't have a bassinet as we did with Olivia so he sleeps in this little rocking seat. I am so glad we invested in this rocker. Since we found out he has reflux he has to sleep inclined and this seat is perfect for that. It must be pretty comfy if he's sleeping so good. So thankful for such a good baby! 

Pictures of My Babies

First yawn documented. Yawns are good, very very good! Usually means some good sleep is directly behind it. At this point in time, it makes this mommy smile.

This little fella is really not so little. I could eat those thigh rolls and double chin up. Love.

First of many trips to ole Target for this little guy.

Can you love and hate newborn days all at the same time?? Maybe love more than hate. Maybe not all at the same time. You get what I'm saying.

After seeing this I fugured she was trying to tell me either  A.she wanted to get out of the house and go somewhere or  B.she was telling me to put that baby down already! Made me laugh.

 

If you haven't noticed I have been a tad behind on my blogging. I have a pretty good excuse. I have beeen doing a WHOLE lot of this...cuddling with my newborn that soon won't be a newborn.

Scrub a dub dub

Finally Ford's umbilical cord fell off and we were able to give him a real bath. He looks like he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Who doesn't like to sit in a warm bath and get squeaky clean?

Olivia LOVES bubbles so we decided to get this bubble machine while it was on sale at Wal Mart. This has absolutely been the best investment ever. Sure does beat blowing bubbles the whole time and it makes for a very happy girl.

Easter Pictures

We go to the same lady every year to have Easter pictures taken with bunnies and chicks. Can't wait to see how these two grow in the coming years through these pictures.
